As those first days can be tiring and busy for your family, newborn photography ensures you don’t miss the chance to capture that stillness in time.
What’s particularly special about newborn photography, is that it gives you a chance to warmly reflect on that initial time whenever you’d like to in the future. All without feeling pressured to try to capture perfect images yourself.
Plus, you can also share the photographs with your wider family and friends, no matter where they happen to live so that they can also share your celebration.

The Best Time to do a Newborn Photoshoot
I suggest scheduling your newborn session shortly after your 20-week scan. At that point, we can establish a provisional session date, which is usually a week after your due date. I’ll be staying in touch with you as your baby’s due date approaches, and I’ll make sure to keep some room in my schedule so we can adjust the session date if needed, depending on when your little one decides to make their grand entrance!
